Broken Heart Narrative Illustration

This series of illustrations is inspired by a series of life events that I experienced in the year 2021. Hope you can relate to my emotions and the meaning behind the paintings.
The tighter you try to hold on to someone the, more they pull away from you. You will either end up drowning yourself or drown them. The moment you realize you need to hold on to someone tightly know that they have gone already.

When you let go of someone all you have left of them is their memory. We keep looking back to the good times and hold on to it.
Sometimes the monster isn’t outside but inside. The one inside is more harmful as it consumes you with negativity and self-doubt. Which makes you feel lonely and helpless. Confront your guilt monster and overcome it. You are stronger than that.
Sometimes you gotta accept it’s you and just you. There is no one coming to save you or wipe your tears. Only you have the power to pick yourself up and face it with a smile. The moment you accept it is the moment you set yourself free.
After acceptance comes ray of hope. Nothing is permanent, neither is a bad day. It may seem like there is no good ahead, but believe me when I say it there is. It might just take a bit longer than you thought but the good is on the way.
